This annual event is held
at the Northwood Football ground in Chestnut Avenue and is organised
by the Northwood Lions Club assisted by the Denham Lions and the
Phoenix Lions.
After a downpour half an hour before the start, the carnival was
blessed with fair weather with the result that there were many
visitors throughout the day. As you can see from the photographs,
there were a variety of stalls and activities to entertain the
crowds as well as music from Radio Hillingdon.
The day’s profits will be shared between the Paul Strickland Scanner
Appeal and the Michael Sobell Hospice. Congratulations to the Lions
for organising such a successful event. |
