Met Line: Croxley Rail Link to Watford High Street given the go-ahead

Croxley Rail Link has been awarded the necessary Government funding required for its construction. The Rail Link is a proposed diversion and extension of the Watford (i.e. Northwood) branch of the Met Line to Watford Junction via Watford High Street. The existing Watford terminus station would be closed to passengers. It is hoped that the new route will be finished by 2016.
