A Message from our Chairman

Dear Residents,

I sincerely hope that you are all well and successfully surviving the lockdown.

I thought that you would like to know that the NRA committee is still functioning and working on your behalf. For example,

the Council’s Planning Department continues to operate and Trevor Sherling peruses and challenges applications in the usual way. We held the normal April committee meeting electronically and will produce the usual minutes. In May we will attempt to hold the meeting with a video conferencing app such as Zoom. This will be the norm until we are let loose by HM Government.

Hopefully we will be able to hold our AGM later this year. In the meantime the current officers and committee members will remain in place.

At our last meeting the Committee decided to make donations of £250 each to four local Health charities – Michael Sobell Hospice, Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (Linda Jackson Macmillan Centre) and The Hillingdon Hospital Charity (supporting staff and patients at Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals). We accept that there are many other deserving charities but we felt that we should limit our donations to local health charities.

You can read about local charities and the ways in which you can support them here.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any comments or questions. I will try to answer in the usual way.

Stay safe.
