We were alerted to the damage to the NRA bench in Rowland Place, but before we could contact the council a public-spirited Northwood Resident had already done so. Many thanks to Cllr Melvin for being so quick off the mark in submitting a Member’s Enquiry. Not only that, council contractors were on-site within hours, damage assessed, and repairs in hand at their workshop – so thanks also to Hillingdon Council for their speedy response.
