Double your donation to Michael Sobell House in the Big Give’s Christmas Challenge Campaign. Michael Sobell House is taking part in the Christmas Challenge to raise £15,000 in just 1 week! These funds will be used for our project to ‘Help our patients be warm and cosy this winter’.
Michael Sobell House needs gas to heat our Hospice and electricity to use equipment to ensure our patients are as comfortable as they can be during their stay. For instance, many of the people who stay with us use heat pads throughout the day and night to relieve pain. These pads are heated in a special microwave in our Inpatient Unit, so when you donate to support the use of one heat pad this week you will be supporting the use of two!
Help us with our spiralling gas and electricity costs whilst we support those in our community living with a serious or terminal illness. Donations to ‘Help Our Patients Be Warm & Cosy This Winter’ will be generously matched by our supporters – Sobell Bridge Club and The Reed Foundation – during the campaign, meaning your money can support twice as many of our patients and families who access our services at Michael Sobell House.
Tracy Henderson, Individual Giving Manager at Michael Sobell House said: “This year we’re looking to raise a total of £15,000. In order to access the £7,500 we have in the matching pot, we need to raise £7,500 in online donations via The Big Give website. We hope everyone will give generously to help us reach our target and enable us to carry on the work we all feel so passionately about.
