Following the resignation of our Advertising Manager, Northwood Residents’ Association is seeking a volunteer to handle all aspects of advertising in the newsletter.
The newsletter is published three times a year; the schedule being agreed between the Editor and Chief Road Steward. The Editor will inform the Ads Manager of the timing.
The maximum number of ads is 14 at ⅛ A4 plus one ½ page advertorial.
The Advertising Manager is responsible for:
1) Sending the newsletter deadline information to regular advertisers and any other enquirers.
2) On confirmation of a booking, sending an invoice which must be settled before we go to press.
3) Sending final artwork to the Editor by the copy deadline.
4) Once the newsletter has been published, delivering/sending a complimentary copy plus a receipt to each advertiser.
5) Liaising with the Editor throughout to keep him informed of progress.
From 2015 to 2025, Howard White has been the NRA Advertising Manager. He will be happy to meet with someone, once appointed, to lead them through his paperwork and contact details for the businesses.
