We have received this information from Rick Connors, HS2 Project Manager at LBH:
- Mon 21/09 to Thur 24/09 – install water connection
- Mon 05/10 to Tue 15/12 – road widening & resurfacing (LBH works)
New Newyears Green Lane Road Closure to install new water connection – Mon 21/09 to Thur 24/09
There will be a Road Closure on Newyears Green Lane from Mon 21/09 to Thur 24/09 while a new water connection is installed.
These works are not HS2 related.
The Road Closure will be localised to where the water connection is being installed, which is nearer to the junction with Breakspear Road South.
Access from Harvil Road will be maintained for the Civic Amenity Site, and there will be access for businesses & residents of Newyears Green Lane facilitated during the Road Closure.
New Future Works Newyears Green Lane Road Closure for Road Widening & Resurfacing (LBH works) – 05/10 to 15/12
There will be a Road Closure along Newyears Green Lane for LBH Road Widening & Resurfacing, currently scheduled to take place between 05/10 and 15/12.
During this time the section of Newyears Green Lane shown below in the Red Box will be closed to all traffic.
These works are not HS2 related.
Access to the Civic Amenity Site is maintained from Harvil Road, but access for BFA Recycling and other businesses and residents will be from the Breakspear Road South side of Newyears Green Lane.
These are LBH works to widen the width of a section of the road to allow better access to an increased capacity Civic Amenity Site and to allow for carriageway resurfacing.
