Do you want to help organise the Poppy Appeal 2023 and support your local community during Remembrance Week?
The Royal British Legion is a champion of Remembrance and is responsible for the annual Poppy Appeal. The RBL is now looking for enthusiastic volunteer organisers to support the work of our London team in Northwood. The team works closely with local communities, businesses, churches, clubs, and schools throughout London to ensure a great experience of giving and remembering during Remembrance Week and our all-year-round fundraising events.
As a PA organiser, you will make an important contribution to RBL’s work to support current serving personnel, veterans, and their families, providing expert advice and guidance for recovery and rehabilitation, through to transitioning to civilian life.
In this role, you will be able to use and develop your planning and coordination skills and your passion for building long-lasting relationships with individuals and groups. In addition, you can be confident that the time you give contributes to eradicating inequalities across our society.
If you have a specific experience you’re looking to develop or use, we are very happy to discuss whether this is possible to accommodate.
We welcome applications from people from all sections of the community, irrespective of race, colour, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
Will you take part?
