There is a public consultation to develop a site adjacent to Mount Vernon Hospital to provide 57 homes with access to/from Rickmansworth Road beyond Carlton Place. This is prior to an application for outline planning permission.
The NRA is absolutely against the proposal, and we urge residents to object because it is on Green Belt land, and so should not be allowed in any case. In addition, the access point onto Rickmansworth Road is unsafe, there are no secondary schools in Northwood, and insufficient doctors’ surgeries so there would be increased stress on those services.
