Overgrown hedges and bushes can restrict pathways making life difficult for pedestrians and mobility scooter users. Late summer is a good time to trim most hedges, after the birds have finished nesting and before the winter frosts arrive. Perhaps you are physically unable to trim your hedge yourself or don’t employ a gardener who would do it. What then?
We are encouraging our members to help their neighbours with hedge trimming. If you notice a neighbour’s hedge is becoming rather overgrown, and they seem to be unable to cut their hedge, then please do consider having a chat with them and offer to trim the hedge for them.
Thank you
