Road Works: Rickmansworth Road (Iron Bridge)

There are to be some night time road closures of the Rickmansworth Road in the vicinity of the Iron Bridge, due to essential maintenance on the bridge itself. This will require night time closures at the location for a period of eight weeks commencing Monday 23 May. Once scaffolding has been erected there will be a further sixteen week period of maintenance during which time the road will remain open to trafffic. Once the works are completed there will be a further period of night time closures lasting another eight weeks, to enable removal of the scaffolding. It is hoped that the work may be completed in less than the period noted above. A diversion will be operated during the periods of night time working via the old High Street and Green Lane.
