Northwood Residents’ Association Annual General Meeting was held
on Thursday 9th April 2015
at Northwood Methodist Church, Oaklands Gate
There was a good attendance at this the 49th AGM of the NRA. The accounts for the 2014 were accepted, the subscription rate retained at a minimum of £2 per household and £10 for Business Members, officers and committee members were elected. The guest speaker was Eileen Bowlt, local history author who gave an illustrated talk entitled, “Northwood: Rural Hamlet to leafy Suburb”. Councillor Carol Melvin was on hand to answer questions in the open forum.
Under Any Other Business, the proposed changes to the Association’s Constitution were accepted and there was some discussion on how we should celebrate the NRA’s 50th birthday in 2016.
