Northwood is looking very pretty this year. Have you seen the wildflower meadows?
A resident sent us this photograph of the stunning display near to the footpath crossing Northwood Golf Course:
Remember the wonderful poppy display in Northwood Recreation Ground sown last year to commemorate the centenary of the outbreak of WWI? The council ploughed that area up earlier this year and a beautiful array of wild flowers has sprung up – including some red poppies.
The horse trough near the junction of Rickmansworth Road with Copse Wood Way is also looking good:
