If you have the occasional hour to spare and would like to enable our members to get to activities, please contact our office on 01923 842494. Most members are in their eighties or nineties, live alone and have mobility problems, so very much appreciate the chance to get out and socialise at one of our events, such as Lunch Club.
Two recent additions to our programme:
- iPad training which takes place on Mondays from 2-3pm at St John’s URC in Hallowell Road. There are vacancies to join this group, which has enabled many current members to use technology which is enhancing their lives.
- Music Therapy which takes place from 11-12noon on Fridays, also at St John’s URC. This activity is designed to help those with mild dementia and is greatly enjoyed by those who are taking part.Please contact the office on the above number if you are interested in joining either of these or know someone who might benefit from them.
