on Thursday 11th April 2019
at Northwood Methodist Church, Oaklands Gate

There was an excellent attendance at this the 53rd AGM of the NRA with around 160 residents as well as invited guests and members of the committee present.

The accounts for 2018 were accepted, the subscription rate retained at a minimum of £2 per household and £10 for Business Members, officers and committee members were elected. The guest speaker was Group Captain Jason Sutton, Commanding Officer at Northwood HQ who gave us an interesting insight into the history and role played by the base and its personnel.

Nick Hurd MP gave us his personal take on the TfL proposals and an update on local health isuues. Sgt Jim Last talked about local policing and the Safer Neghbourhoods Team.

A large part of the general meeting was given over to discussion of TfL’s current proposals for Northwood Station and area.
