In February 2019, members of the NRA committee and other interested parties joined Hillingdon Council Conservation officers on a walkabout to look at the special characteristics of the Northwood Town Centre, Green Lane Conservation Area. Despite the conservation area being designated in November 2009 there was no document that clearly described the special historic and architectural character of the area except for a brief A4 pamphlet.
A draft of the Conservation Area Appraisal is now complete. The public consultation on the Northwood Town Centre, Green Lane Conservation Area Appraisal and 14 locally listed buildings runs from 12th June 2019 until 24th July 2019. The documents can be accessed here.
