Olive Fairclough and her brilliant team of volunteers, who have been running the Northwood Lions Club Saturday Market on Pinner Road for the past fifty years, announce with deep sadness and regret that they will not be reopening.
Following more than two years of forced closure during the pandemic, we have encountered various insurmountable problems that mean we cannot continue. So, after much soul searching we have decided to call it a day.
We want to thank all our loyal customers, many of whom have been visiting the Market all their lives, for the wonderful support they’ve shown us over the years, enabling us to raise more than £300,000 – all of which has gone to local good causes. We’ll miss you all – for your company, your wisdom, inspiration and good humour.
