The Blood Tests Department at Mount Vernon Hospital is open from 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
URGENT Blood Tests ordered by the GP (URGENT Label on the Form and Signed) and Blood Tests ordered by Doctors through the Outpatients Departments of Mount Vernon Hospital are carried out at the Phlebotomy Unit. Patients don’t have to make appointments. They can just walk in, at the times mentioned above, and have the Test done. There is NO Booking System in operation at the Unit.
Routine and regular Blood Tests, ordered by the GP, should be carried out at the GP’s Surgery. Patients must book appointments with their GP Surgery to get the blood test done and NOT at the Phlebotomy Unit at Mount Vernon Hospital.
